纽约是一个独立且独特的城市，融洽了世界上的各种元素，我无法给这城市一个完整的评价；原因有三:
一 是初来乍到时，我曾为这城市激动，从艺术的角度第一印象看纽约是铺天盖地夺目而来的涂鸦；使我激动━━这里是自由世界的王国，艺术者的天堂!
二 是住下之后，视觉的转移，时间很快将岁月消融，激动燃烧后的困惑，艺术者的创造与生存将那初始的激情挥去了，原来这里也是冒险家的乐园!
三 是几年以后，这一多元化城市使我茫然，我虽呼吸的是自由的空气，却眼底下是两脚空空，失去了自己的根基，原来这座城市━━自由背后的代价是
眼泪。
于是«纽约印象» 1、眼睛，2、信仰，3、自由，4、眼泪 这一组画在此复杂的心境下采用各种元素创作而成了。
